My husband and I had an incredible dinner and stay at Cohill's. The food was delicious, service was incredible, Glen and a few regulars, their conversations and recommendations made it well worth the stay! Not to mention the softest sheets and comfiest beds we had in our 13 days of random travels. Everything from the pub/restaurant to our room was super clean. Definitely on our list of places to return and explore more.

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. They were extremely busy and communicated to us that the kitchen was backed up, but they’d take our order once they were caught up. This was not a problem for us, so we sat at the bar and had drinks while we waited. The food was SO worth the wait. My ravioli had fresh herbs and cheese and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a burger. We finished off our meal with a lava cake, which was also great! The food was clearly made with care. The staff were super friendly and the pub was cozy and inviting. We would absolutely go back!

We arrived at Coehill’s late in search of a meal on our travels. When we arrived the restaurant was very busy, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We were seated for a meal despite the kitchen being closed. The food and drinks were great, the owner was very friendly and shared history of the origins of the CoeHill Inn, as well as the area. The owner offered us a place to rest for the night after learning that we had missed the ferry. Our room was cozy and comfortable! We woke up to a beautiful view of the harbour. After the experience we had, we strongly recommend this location to anyone travelling the area and looking for a more casual place to stay.

This was our first stop after arriving in Lubec, Maine. My daughter and I grabbed two lobster rolls, and wow—what a turnaround. It was only our second time trying lobster rolls (the first was in Old Orchard Beach), and honestly, that first try didn’t impress us. But we decided to give it another shot—and we’re so glad we did. The service here was absolutely stellar, and the lobster rolls were phenomenal. Huge, generous portions of lobster meat, perfectly prepared. It was easily one of the best food experiences of our trip. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Lubec.

Had a great dinner here during our stay! The staff is very friendly and we had excellent service. Definitely the meatiest lobster roll of the trip! The humus plate another good choice, warm naan with salted cucumbers.

Went for dinner. I had the portobello mushroom sandwich and my husband had jambalaya. We both love our selections. My husband was very impressed with the size and amount of shrimp that was in his jambalaya. My portobello mushroom was seizing perfectly

Only ate here. Tavern turned us away because we didn't have reservations so we went here and sure glad we did. Artichoke dip was really good. Chips that are served with it was okay. Burger was cooked to a perfect medium as requested. We got there a little early and glad because it filled up quick. Really nice seating/waiting area for waiting on tables. Staff was very cordial and responsive. Definitely would eat here again but they do close for the season.

My wife and I had a super enjoyable visit in Lubec last week and our hosts, Ellen and Glenn made us feel at home. Sure it’s no “five star” hotel but in Lubec, all things are relative. Their location was perfect for us as it was a stone’s throw from the boat launch as we were completing our kayaking journey of the Maine coast. Ultimately Cohill’s with Ellen’s great food was the complete experience for making the best visit possible. Unlike the few other options in town, Cohills had great deck for relaxing after your day, or grabbing some sun without all the wind. There is no question that we will stay here again when we return to the area.
